I recently completed construction on a new single-family home in the Forest Hills Gardens area. Vintage Homes was the contractor I used because he came highly recommended by my architect.
I found Danny, the owner of Vintage Homes to be great. Besides having to deal with the NYC dept. of buildings we also had to get architectural approvals from the Forest Hills Gardens Architectural committee. There was a bond set up on the exterior construction of the home. Danny understood and helped in every way to make that process go smoothly. We had to deal with many different approvals and everything passed. I could not have done it without Danny's guidance and expertise. One of his greatest attributes is that he always gets back to you. Whether by phone, email or text. In addition, he always kept an eye on the sub-contractors and scheduling their work. This project would have never come to completion without Danny. I would always recommend Vintage Homes, especially for high end and complicated projects if you want it done right.

We honestly can't say enough good things about Vintage Homes. When my best friend and I moved into a very spacious loft in Williamsburg, we needed help fixing up the place to its full potential. The place we moved into used to be a working factory and had not been properly renovated, so it was quite an extensive job. A lot needed to be done.
What I can say is that Danny and his team are very kind, knowledgeable, fair, trustworthy, and reliable - they came to do a thorough walk through, came in several times to check in, and were always upfront about cost and timing and what could be done in the timeframe we had. There seems to be no job too big or too small and no job that they will not take on.
They did a full-blown renovation job including kitchen, two bathrooms, three bedrooms and a large living room area. Danny's amazing team completely redid our two bathrooms (all new floor tiling, new walls, a beautiful new shower and wall tiling), installed a stunning new kitchen with gorgeous white kitchen cabinets and black counter tops and a new sink. Then we had a bunch of holes in the ceilings that needed to be closed off and sealed all around the apartment. They put so much attention and care into every detail of all the things that needed to be done. Danny definitely has a great eye for style and concept. He kept up the beautiful artsy warehouse loft look that we love so much and matched the newly renovated elements so beautifully with the old lofty feel of our place.
His team got the work done without a hitch, they listened and cared about everything we wanted, but also were not afraid to tell us if something needed to change or wouldn't work in our space. They kept on timeline and were always going above and beyond what we asked.
Hands down we would have Danny and his team work with us again and I hope anyone we know uses them for their future needs. Absolutely amazing job!
